Overview of the Asanjo Film Festival
Asanjo Film Festival is the first youth-led community film festival of Bhuj, born from a year-long journey of 20 young people exploring and reimagining their city through films.
“Asanjo” means “ours” in Kutchi, capturing how Bhuj has shifted from just an address to something the youth now claim as their own city.
The festival is the culmination of weekly Sunday gatherings where young people questioned, mapped, and rediscovered their everyday Bhuj.
33 short films by young people from Bhuj and other Indian cities were screened, opening space for shared learning and exchange
